Interested in becoming a baseball or softball umpire for St. Joseph?

Umpires 13 and older will earn the following per game:

• 1st-2nd grade $20
• 3rd-4th grade machine $30
• 3rd-4th grade 2 umpires each $30
• 3rd-4th grade single only $45
• 5th-8th grade 2 umpires each $40
• 5th-8th grade single only $60

12 year olds can ump instructional 1st-2nd grade games and earn $20 per game.

Plan to attend the virtual Test Prep Meeting on 2/26 7-8:15pm as we help our umpires to pass the test and learn the correct rules. Umpires are encouraged to attend so that we can get them to pass the test and be better prepared for the upcoming season. Details for the class are below. There will be visual aides so dialing in by phone may not be the most productive. This does not replace attending a clinic requirement. The test should be available online soon. 

Review the 2025 CYC Baseball/Softball Umpire Test.  Prepare for the upcoming season. Highly recommended for any prospective umpires.
